Maria Koutroumpousi is born in Athens in 1966. After graduating from Ralleios High school she studied Educational Sciences in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA). She graduated from UOA in 1986 having acquired the specialty of the teacher in primary education. She worked for almost twenty years in the IT of Hellenic Telecommunication Organization (OTE SA) and for the past eight years she is a teacher and the deputy manager of “Jeanne d’ arc” private Greek – French primary school. She has attended an annual program of specialization in special needs education at the UOA and today she is an undergraduate student of Athabasca University. As a member of the volunteer teachers of UNICEF she writes UNICEF’s educational magazines addressing to all primary schools in Greece. She is married and mother of four children.
